What are the subsidies and waivers available on purchase of electric vehicles

1.Some state governments offer subsidies for purchasing electric vehicles.
2.Maharashtra offers a maximum subsidy of Rs.1.5 lakh on a 4-wheeler EV for the first 10,000 buyers, and Rs.10,000 for 2-wheeler EVs.
3.For electric vehicles purchased using a loan, there is a tax exemption on the interest, of up to Rs.1.5 lakh for individuals, under Section 80EEB of the Income Tax Act.
4.The Centre offers a low GST rate of 5% for all electric vehicles.
