Following others, Indian Bank has also introduced a special FD with attractive interest rates during a limited period. According to the Indian Bank website, the special fixed deposit plan is called the “IND UTSAV 610” plan and has a 610-day duration offering a 6.10% annual interest rate for the regular citizens, and a 6.25% annual interest rate for senior citizens.

According to the bank’s official website, ““IND UTSAV 610” – A Special Term Deposit Plan for 610 days @ 6.10 % p.a for Public , 6.25 % p.a for Senior Citizens & 6.50 % p.a for Super Senior Citizens (80 Years and above ) valid up to 31.10.2022.”

SBI, Karnataka Bank, Bank of Baroda and Ujjivan Small Finance Banks are some of the banks that have launched Special FD with higher interest rates for limited period.

The “IND UTSAV 610” Special Term Deposit Plan of Indian Bank will expire on October 31, 2022. The bank had revised FD interest rate on August 24, 2022 offering interest rate between 2.80% to 5.75% for tenure ranging between 7 days to 10 years for regular citizens.
