Criterion

Before you initiate the process of closing your PPF account, do note that only matured accounts (those that have completed mandatory 15 years) can be closed under this option. If you want to close your PPF account prematurely, then the PPF account holder will be required to submit a closure form and other relevant documents at the concerned post office branch.
